What is the Community Spotlight (CSL)?
The Community Spotlight is a section on our website that offers FREE listing for green companies, utilizing our traffic. Unlike other business listings, we don’t initially promote businesses. Instead, we promote “products” because customers will eventually find the business information once they’re interested in the product. We understand that consumers don't usually go online to buy business; they go online in search of products to purchase. This is why we offer a search tool in CSL. All this gives companies listed in the CSL a better chance of getting their product purchased; especially if they are offering quality products at lower prices. With that said we like to encourage our vendors to offer special deals and pricing as well. This way, both parties win- our customers can get the best deal and our vendors can grow their business.

Why showcase on Community Spotlight? We promote your product directly to the Eco community. To PEOPLE WHO CARE. Customers will contact you “directly” if they are interested in your product. People always asked us “why do you allow other businesses to list products on your site? This will take away your customers”. Yes, indeed it could. Again, profit is not our main priority. We believe in giving our customers the best shopping experience possible. We know that it’s going to take more than just an online store to make a significant impact, but if we all come together as a community our collective efforts will have a positive impact on our planet. This idea leads us to creating Community Spotlight. We hope that every eco, green, natural, and organic business will come together to promote quality products that make natural living affordable. In the end it’s a win-win situation for all of us and most of all, our children’s future
It’s a simple process. Follow these 3 easy steps and start promoting right away. The best part is that you have control over everything on your listing. You can always update, edit, and delete your product once you post it. 2. Log in and go to Community Spotlight page (green banner) where you then click the button “Promote Your Product” 3. Pick a category that best describe your product and start filling out the simple form the best you can. Upload product pictures you want people to see. You can add your link in the description page also. Anyone can join to promote their product(s). All we ask is that you promote products that have at least one of the following criteria: Eco-friendly, natural, green or organic. Individuals or companies that submit products that don't match the criteria will not have their post activated. To avoid automated spammers we use CAPTCHA so only a person can message you. We encourage vendors to promote the latest and greatest items within the community so it is advised to pick your best products from your company and post them on our Community Spotlight page.
First, wait till one of our staff members reviews your listing(s) to verify that the item meets at least one of our criteria mentioned in the above section and that all other information included in the post is correct. We want to keep the Community Spotlight as spam free as possible and ensure that only genuine Eco products are listed. After everything checks out we will notify you by email that your listing(s) is/are up on our site and then you can start linking your clients to the listing.
